I never thought that this would happen to me, but today I'm in the early stages of the worst day of my life (so far).
In chronological order:
- Woke up and went for a glass of orange juice ... the faucet at the kitchen sink is clogged.
- Heavy traffic jam at the Grabenstraße and no way circumnavigate it. I tried to, but found myself at a dead end road.
- Can't find a parking spot. Have to squeeze my car in the tiniest spot one could imagine.
- Missed the bus to the campus by just a few seconds. I'm sure the bus driver laughed at me ... bastard.
- Tried my luck at the tram. It's clogged full of people. Reminds me of my faucet. Why do all these people have to use this particular tram. I'm sure the next one would be nearly empty. Yeah, and thanks to the lady with the sharp elbows!
- Got nearly knocked down on a crosswalk by a mad bicyclist who yelled at me. But I shouldn't mind ... it seems that all native inhabitants of Graz act this way. At least the mad ones and there are lots of them! It's terrifying how quick they are with insults even if they are at fault.
Now it's 09:15 in the morning and I wonder if there is more to come.
